WINTER BOOKINGS

TWENTY-EIGHT-DAY CAMPERS ON CRABBS BLUNTSHAY FARM CAMPSITE

 Special nightly rates apply to campers who wish to stay for 28 days on my campsite during this winter from January to 17th April. There will be plenty of space and choice of pitch during this time.  Nightly fee will depend on whether the camper has a gas or electric heater

IF A SUMMER HOLIDAY IS BOOKED AND A DEPOSIT PAID BEFORE 28TH FEBRUARY THEN A £2 REDUCTION WILL BE MADE ON EACH NIGHT BOOKED. DON’T DELAY – BOOK TODAY!

Campsite Facilities:

  • Cabin has – 3 toilets, 2 showers, 3 hand basins, a kitchen area for washing up, a fridge, a freezer and a tourist information centre.
    • Shower tokens are 50p
  • The unit at the side of the farm house has 1 toilet, 1 shower and 1 handbasin
  • The site has 7 hard standings and 11 electrical hookups, and space for tents. During the summer holidays, another field is opened up with 3 more hook ups and space for numerous tents.
  • There is a washing line
  • Mains water is on site, along with toilet disposal facilities
  • Fire pits are available on request, as is logs
  • Dogs are welcome
  • Free WiFi
  • Orchard walk for adults and dogs alike
  • Check in and out times – 12 noon

We are open every day of the year. Crabbs Bluntshay is a working farm so there are animals and poultry to enjoy during your stay.

Camping Fees 2026

One unit = 2 adults and several children under 16.  Any extra adult will be an extra charge of £5 a night

 A pup tent (very small and only space for one person to sleep in) is £8 a night

Traveling To Crabbs Bluntshay Farm

How To Find The Campsite

It is possible to reach Crabbs Bluntshay without relying on a Sat Nav devices which sometimes can provide a very roundabout route. There is no need to drive down miles of lanes. If the Marshwood Vale is approached from any of the following, narrow lanes can be avoided.

A303 – A356 – Crewkerne – B3165 – Marshwood – turn left at the church and continue down into the Vale avoiding all roads left and right until you reach the pub Shave Cross on a T junction. Turn right here and we are just under 1/2 mile down this road being at the first farm house on the left.

M5 – Junction 28 – A373 – Honiton – A35 – Hunters Lodge pub (just off the Axminster Bypass) turn left on to the Crewkerne Road – B3165 – Marshwood – turn right at the church.

A35 from Dorchester – Bridport – Go straight through the town – over a small bridge at the bottom, immediately turn right at a small roundabout and continue out into the country – B3162 – at a 4 cross roads turn left into the Marshwood Vale when the signs point to Shave Cross and Broadoak.
